I am the manifestation of God’s love and care. I am a proud mother, a social justice activist, a storyteller, a businesswoman, and a speaker.

On December 24, 2017, I was involved in a severe motor vehicle accident, which resulted in my being declared hemiplegic. As a result, I use a wheelchair to mobilise, my right arm has no functionality, and my speech is affected. The accident completely altered my life. I could no longer teach, and my business had to shut down just two months into my four-month hospitalization.
This event served as a transformative experience for me. As I lay unconscious on the side of the road, I regained consciousness in a world that reignited my determination to combat injustice, exclusion, and advocate for equality.
I am a passionate champion of human rights, inclusion, diversity, and transformation. As an African woman with a disability, I have personal experience of exclusion as well as marginalisation. This lived experience has further ignited my desire to serve and make the world a better place for not only the vulnerable but all who live in it.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on Political Science, Public Development Management, and History from Stellenbosch University. I completed an Advanced Human Rights Course on Disability Rights in an African Context with the Centre for Human Rights at the University of Pretoria. I was awarded the title of Public Servant Fellow by the then Apolitical Academy Southern Africa, now Future Elect. Additionally, I possess a diploma in Digital Marketing. I am an accredited Assessor and Moderator with the ETDP SETA.
As an emerging leader, I had the privilege of serving as the Junior Mayor of the King Sabatha Dalindyebo (KSD) municipality, where I led youth development initiatives at just fifteen years old. Subsequently, I was selected as one of the student exchange leaders to North Carolina, Washington DC, and New York during my second year at university. In my third year, I was elected as the second African woman to be part of the Student Representative Council at Stellenbosch University.
These formative years were the foundation of my drive and passion for serving and developing the South African people and its vulnerable communities.
